Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, you will meet your guide, discuss your trek. You will have some leisure time to stroll through the busy streets of Thamel; shopping trekking gear and souvenirs. Dinner is also welcome in the evening with the guide and other trekkers.

Tips:

Make sure you drink and rest after the flight.
Have all your documents handy for the next day hike.
Take short walks in Kathmandu to acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara(6-7 hours)

Following breakfast, begin your drive towards Pokhara; it is around 6-7 hrs of driving time with a private vehicle. You’ll get views of the Trishuli River and the surrounding mountains. After few more hours of travelling you will reach Pokhara. Check in Hotel and rest eg the day.

Tips:

Pack a few snacks for the road.
It can get chilly on the drive, so dress in layers.
And don't forget to have your camera ready for the beautiful scenes.

Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m).

Drive in Nayapul (1.5h) from Pokhara. From here, your trek to Tikhedhunga will start via Birethanti. The walk is not difficult, and you are walking through lush forests, with occasional glimpses of the hills around you.

Tips:

Comfortable walking shoes are a must.
Also, take regular breaks, and drink plenty of water!
Pack a rain jacket, as the weather has been known to turn on a dime.

Day 4: Hike to Ghorepani (2,850m)

Today you'll be trekking up to Ghorepani, the highest point of the trek. The trail gets steeper today but the capture of Annapurna Range is definitely worth it. You’ll encounter more rhododendron forests and small settlements along the way.

Tips:

Get ready for a tougher day of hiking.
Dress in layers to accommodate shifting temperatures.
Stop at tea houses along the way to try local specialities.

Day 5: Poonhill Sunrise and Poonhill to Tadapani (2,650m)

You’ll rise early to witness the stunning sunrise at Poonhill with phenomenal views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Day 6: Then, after that, start walking towards the Tadapani through beautiful woods and traditional villages.

Tips:

Use a torch for the early morning hike.
Be dressed warmly because you will feel the cold of the early morning.
(It will make you take lots of photos in Poonhill!

Day 6: Through Ghandruk to Pokhara (630 m)

Today, trek down to Ghandruk, a charming village known for its stone houses and great mountain views. Drive back to Pokhara after visiting the village. Relax and spend the evening in the lakeside town.

Tips:

Walking downhill can be hard on the knees so be careful.
Keep your load light for the downhill portion.
Refuel with a well-earned meal in Pokhara.

Day 7: Drive Back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, scenic drive to Kathmandu where your trek ends. You’re dropped off at your hotel and have the rest of the day for exploring or shopping in Kathmandu before you leave.

Tips:

Bracing yourself for a lengthy drive back to Kathmandu.
Pack snacks and drinks for the trip.
Relax and contemplate the amazing journey you’ve just undertaken.

Transportation; You’ll be picked up and dropped off at both the Kathmandu and Pokhara airports using a tourist vehicle for your international and domestic flights.

Accommodation; You’ll stay in 3 star hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara for 2 nights each, with breakfast included. You can either share a room with a friend or opt for a private room at an additional cost.

During the Trek; Your overnight accommodations will be in twin sharing or dormitory style guesthouses, ensuring comfort after your daily hikes.

Meals; Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the trek, along with seasonal fruits. Filtered water will be provided during your hikes.

Guide and Support; Trek alongside a knowledgeable English speaking guide from Inspiring Trek who is certified in first aid. Porters will assist in carrying your luggage.

Permits; All required permits for the Annapurna Sanctuary and TIMS (Trekkers Information Management System) are included.

Transportation; Travel by tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, followed by private transportation from Pokhara to Birethanti and back to Pokhara from Syauli Bazaar.
